What Makes a Strong Tip
TSM does not chase rumors. We investigate patterns. A strong tip gives us a place to start digging — it does not need to be the finished story. The best tips point to something specific: a person, an agency, a contract, a decision, a pattern of behavior that does not add up.

- A specific agency, official, or institution
- A time frame or sequence of events
- A pattern you have observed firsthand
- Documents, records, or evidence
- Names of other people who may have knowledge
- What you believe happened and why it matters
💡 Context That Helps
- How you know what you know
- Whether you have direct experience or secondhand knowledge
- Whether the issue has been reported elsewhere
- Whether documents exist and where they might be found
- Whether other sources could corroborate
- What you think TSM should look at first
